La struttura, di recente costruzione, prende il suo nome da un attrezzo che i contadini valdostani utilizzavano per la battitura dei cereali. Tale scelta non è casuale: il Meublé Lo Fleyé mette i proprii ospiti a diretto contatto con la natura, la storia e la cultura della Valle d'Aosta. La sua posizione, dominante sulla vallata centrale, offre grazie alle sue ampie finestre un impareggiabile panorama sul Mont Emilius, sulla Grivola, sul Ruitor e sui relativi ghiacciai, mentre i castelli di ChâtelArgent, Aymavilles, Sarriod de la Tour e Saint-Pierre (sede del Museo delle Scienze Naturali) ricordano lo straordinario passato della Regione.

All'interno, il rispetto della tradizione si sposa con i più moderni servizii. L'arredamento è in legno, secondo l'uso locale, mentre in ogni stanza sono garantiti  servizii privati, telefono diretto, televisione a colori satellitare, frigobar e filodiffusione, ed alcune sono attrezzate per accogliere persone disabili.

La colazione a buffet offre l'occasione per l'ennesimo incontro con la tradizione valdostana, grazie all'abbondante scelta di prodotti tipici quali formaggi, yogurt, salumi, miele e frutta, che si aggiungono al latte delle bovine locali ed ai vini doc, alle grappe ed al genepy del bar a disposizione degli ospiti. Per i pasti dispone di convenzioni con locali tipici e caratteristici, sia nelle vicinanze sia nei principali centri turistici della Valle d'Aosta.

This newly built Hotel is named after a tool once used by the Aosta-Valley peasants for the winnowing of grain. Such a definition has not been chosen at random, as the Lo-Fleyé Hotel affords the guests to taste complete peacefulness in the midst of nature (woods, nature trails and summer pastures), though also enabling them to get easily plunged in the Aosta-Valley history, traditions and culture.
